hey my little sis. how was skull? everythings okay? u need to work more on science and social because we need to take science and social gateway on gwinnet county. it is gwinnett county graduation test. i just took it about 3 weeks ago and still waiting for my grade. i think i pass it but iam not sure. let me ask my teacher to give u practice paper. it is helpfull. u should be take it in 10th grade. anyway, i dun know, just be carefull with gateway. with out gateway u cannot graduation even u pass geogia 2 skull graduation test . before u take it just giv me a call, i will tell u some thing to help u pass this shiy.

It doesn't matter how many people would join the club. Have you guys ever think of group instead of club? If u guys really need a club, then obviously a supervisor is needed. Apparently no one wants bunches of kids wandering around. The other reason would be to know if someone speaks right or wrong and that person -the supervisor- would help. <<< That is for speaking.


For writing, i would suggest someone who is interested in this online club and would post a current event/story once a week ( it can depends on other things as well.)and the club would discuss about the article. The stories should be comprehension, not only reading , but LEARN, or trying to do S.O.A.P.S , or somethings along the line.

^^! I think we have to forcus on 1 thing to talk about so we can corect and learn news words about it from each other. If we talk whatever we want, so 10 people talk about 10 different things, and everything will be mix up. Eventually, we learn nothing. This's my idea. Its up to u, guys.

The point here is how can you get better just because it is fun? Eventually, it will die out. And what people would do? Abandon and go after other things? What do you archive after all "chatting" parts? Seriously? Do you think you 're ACTUALLY improved? NO!I don't think so.You just know how to "chat" , and "learn" ( i don't think it's right word here, but whatever ) those little tips, jokes in conversations. AND THAT IS NOT BENEFICIAL. Fun only plays a small part in this. Passion and Necessity are more important. For everything, and I meant it, For everything, you only get better if you have the passion and the love for it.

Anyhow, I just don't understand how you can get better if you don't take it seriously?
We can learn here, at least not speaking part, but the writing and reading parts.

Finally, i don't think "we" can improve our English skills just chatting.

I agreed with u, we only can get better when we take it seriously.
but my opinion is not always have fun or chatting (just a small part like u said), because we already studied and worked hard (do classwork and homework), so when we go to forum, we wanna relax (for few minutes)
otherwise, we will get stress (maybe)
and yea! we r creating the love on it.

I agree with all that u have write. I think ND forum should have a topic about enlish for one who want to learn EL and this page is the good one. people can't improve their EL by only chatting or speaking or some else, they must use all of them. so we should pepare everything include: speaking,listening,writing,... to improve this language
And i think the leader of this page should have a off-line meeting for everybody can meet and exchange their opinion

You should write in this box first, I think if u can post many essays written by yourself , u and others can fix them and share for u so many experiences .
A group learning offline is good, but if u don't have a great project and a active leader, it will be boring and not successfull.:lanh1:

English is a real bad subjects !! I used to be at average 5.5 subjects English !! This year, I tried hard but still only average score is 5.9 subjects English !! I am really disappointed about the results of this !!
